Jouer Holiday 2016 Lip Crème Trio

Hello hello! I finally got the time to sit this one out and pen my thoughts about a product I’ve been enjoying for the past weeks. I feel like I’m hungover with the overwhelming amount of limited edition sets and holiday releases that came out last year. Anyone else? Just me? Okay…

Jouer Cosmetics came out with a few holiday sets to spice up the year end. I got myself the Long-wear Lip Crème Liquid Lipstick Trio that contains three gorgeous full-sized lippies that came in a box that screams ‘ADD TO CART’.

The set retails for $34 and valued at $54 if sold individually. It features (1) Matte and (2) Metallic shades perfect for the winter season. These are…

Winter Rose – matte warm nude pink

Cranberry – metallic cool cranberry red

Clove – metallic warm deep burgundy brown

L – R   Winter Rose, Cranberry, Clove

These are very comfortable on the lips as they have a thin pigmented formula. Not watery, nor whipped, but kind of in between. They dry down to a matte finish but don’t settle onto the cracks and lines and they smell like sweet vanilla buttercream which I really enjoy.

I find that Clove is a bit harder to work with as it’s not as opaque as Winter Rose and Cranberry, but still a pretty colour nonetheless.

Longevity-wise, they do stay on for quite a while and they fade gracefully. These don’t look patchy as the day goes on, plus, removing them is not such a pain.

Unlike other ones that sucks the life out of your lips, these are weightless and non-drying. If you’re into liquid lipsticks, the Jouer line is definitely worth getting.  I’m not sure if this set is still available but if you happen to find one I highly suggest to go give it a try.

Got mine from Ms. Karla Flores of @classyglamshoppe.

You know the drill. If you have questions, feel free to ask them in the comments and I would gladly assist you.
